Rappers and other public figures regularly come under fire for the words and actions they choose. Outside of that, traditional Hip Hop artists are no longer known for intelligence and cutting-edge global relevance. Most of the smart ones have been replaced with ones who play dumb or are actually ignorant. When popular entertainers face scrutiny about the comments they make, these artist’s prove that they lack knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, which demonstrates why they are nothing more than well-placed distractions now.
